FAQ

  • Can I walk-in to the clinic and be seen by a provider the same day, if I am not a current patient?
Maybe, but we are not able to guarantee this! Here at Paradigm, we strive to remove the traditional barriers to mental health care and see patients as soon as possible, but we are not always able to see patients on the same day they initiate care with us. We strongly encourage prospective patients to TEXT or call the clinic prior to coming in, to see if a same day visit is possible. Depending on the day, we may be able to get you in.
  • What should I bring to my first appointment?
Insurance information, identification, payment method, and list of current medications.
  • Are there limitations to medications I can receive at my first appointment?
No controlled substances will be prescribed at your first appointment, however, these medications may be prescribed if necessary after careful consideration.
  • I can’t see my provider and I’m out of medications. Can I get them refilled there?
In general, yes. The only exceptions would be controlled medications, such as benzodiazepines and stimulants.
  • Am I able to pay out of pocket if I don’t have insurance?
Yes, we accept debit/credit card forms of payment. Unfortuntately, we are not able to accept cash or checks.
  • Are there therapists available for me to see at Paradigm?
Supportive therapy will be provided during appointments, however due to overwhelming demand, therapists at our clinic are not currently available. If you are seeking the ongoing help of a qualified therapist, recommendations can be made during your appointment.
  • Do you have any alternatives for treatment-resistant depression?
Yes! We are now offering ketamine as a therapy for treatment-resistant depression. Feel free to reach out to the clinic or schedule a psychiatric intake appointment to learn more.
